Last Walks, Ode to Annie, Mixed media, 2020-2021
Ode to Annie in honor of our dog Annie who left us in September. A Great Pyrenees Irish Wolf Hound mix who loved her humans, and her cats but had severe PTSD with other dogs due to being used as sport by people who hunted her down with packs of dogs. She had to be walked early in the morning or late at night when less dogs were on the streets. One of the most humanistic dogs I have ever owned. I hope she was as happy with us as we were with her for the seven years we had her before the vet told us we had to let her go.
